
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor on the channel's shows "Squawk on the street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk In the Street' (CNBC). Although she is an Ohioan, she wasn't interested in markets and currencies during the time she was in college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. This was when she had the first experience of business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. After that, she was able to complete an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. When she returned to the US in the fall, she was able working at Bloomberg's office in New York. Eventually, she became a anchor on TV. CNBC hired her as a reporter in December 2013. After serving as co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange," and Power Lunch', she was hired by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the position in the year following Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. Her main goal since the time she joined CNBC has been global consumer news.
