
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22, 1975)[1] is an American actor and director. She is also a talk show host and author. As a member of the Barrymore family of actors, she has been awarded several awards and nominations for which include the Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as nominations for an British Academy Film Award and seven Emmy Awards. In 2004, she earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a well-known young actor for her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. In the wake of a highly-publicized childhood that was characterized by alcohol and drug abuse, she released an autobiography Little Girl Lost. 1 She was in numerous films that became popular during the 1990s-2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore played along with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are just a few of her films. She also played in her directorial debut film Whip It. Grey Gardens was her first film. She won a Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe Award. She was a prominent character on the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
